Raised in Elk Grove, Vahan toured with Las Survivors, the Capital Freelancers Drum and Bugle Corps and later toured the midwest and east coast with Hollywood Stroke, a horn band much like On Air.  He also founded the group Vintage Sound.  Vahan is also available for karaoke events and has two grown children.
